1. October 2009 Jim, Yves + Cira, Thomas + I rode from Beijing to Qingdao meeting some friends down there. We spend fine days together and I have made 3 videos to share this fun with you.

Hey I live in Zibo! Yiyuan is part of Zibo! I've stayed in the Yiyuan Hotel at the start of your video. If you were in our area you should have contacted us. :rolleyes1: We were probably on Taishan when you were filming this!
so sorry !! we didn`t know ! we loved riding in this beautiful part of Shandong Province. We all met in Huangdao and Jimmy, John, Joe organized our tour. do you know them? if you dont, send a PM and I will give the adress to you.
Please, can you forward the Video-Link to the Tourist-Department of Mi Lan. I dont know the names etc.... and there must be a short advertising video they shot from us. maybe TV, maybe Internet....

Sabine, it's OK if you didn't organise the tour! We don't know the Haungdao group of Jimmy, John, and Joe, perhaps you could PM me their address. We live 100kms north of Milan, but we call it Yiyuan, where we live is quite industrial but Milan is not. This is one of the main places we go to ride.
If you ever come again we can take you down much more beautiful roads from Yiyuan to the North of Taishan. From your videos you can see why I don't need to leave Shandong to have a good ride!

they are a fine group and you will have great rides together. I love riding in Shandong. the coastline is great and the small villages inside the mountains also. I dont like the long way down from Beijing. we made 720 Km in one day, 13 hours on the expressway. the ride back was also in one go, but we couldn`t enter the expressway before beeing in Hebei.
left Milan 7:00 am and reached Beijing 10:00 pm.
if Thomas and I do it again, we will split this days in 2 parts. Sidecars are not made for such long distances, they do it but our backsides not, it`s no fun.
