The spring bike camp is a private and personal invitation only event as the master of ceremonies is very selective on who joins the group, can't blame the motley crew in any way.

the motorcycle shop had 4x 150-200cc SH moto motorcycles.
they wanted to lend me a 200cc but it was in a bad shape: nok engine, no rear break so I rejected it
finally I got a brand new black 150cc with 0km. I returned it with 0 mileage as well since they disconnected the meter to keep the bike new;-)
so I took the roads w/o gps, map even w/o odometer...

Very good pictures , as you captured a good slice of south Hainan's mountains and lakes . Its is an 'Eden for bikers and all outdoorsman .
Your biking was well over 200 km and Kiki KillerKat and I just came thru that area last Tuesday . We had a full moon and the waterfall was still strong .
We have quite a few folks visiting this winter - hope you can return . Will get you a PM ..:riding:
Yes , as the 'devil is in the details in Asia - especially China .
China is number two for world UNESCO sites and 8 months of the year - we can bike & motor bike most all . Come winter - there is only one place to be for weather , air quality and a Pacific island lifestyle ...Hainan Island .
It will stay a ' jewel until a bridge is built . Our sources claim its over a decade away .
Look forward to showing you Hainan , as it is Hawaii 1940s ....Cheers
Most UNESCO sites in China are just overcrowded tourist traps and much better spots around the country of the beaten path, sounds like you have never been to Hawaii yet.
China allows real motorbiking all year, just a matter of wearing the right clothes and gear and of course a proper set up legal bike (not the gay scooters or dodgy bikes with false docs / illegal engines).

Thanks Pal and I understand your thinking .
I just finished 12 years & 46 days 'living in Shanghai , China - along with over 100,000 km of bicycling + many many 'miles of motor biking riding ....
From this experience I can say :
* The China UNESCO sites , as all UNESCO sites have high & low seasons . Plus 'with some home work you can miss the crowds or go to another part of the site via travel blog / chat sites .
* Motor bikes in China - we export motor bikes , along with the extensive testing . After many many miles of riding 'we have found road conditions , air pollution & weather to challenging ..& after awhile 'why take the 'mainland risks all year long ?
* I am an American { enjoying lunch in Pudong - Shanghai ....'TGIF !...and have been to 49 states ..How many have you been to ?
Last ..have been to Hawaii + 'we have a few associates there .....and the air has been foul with volcano gases..etc
Never had that situation on Hainan {over the past decade} . The pictures above have no photo shop and would be happy to escort U to each place .
...Cheers Pal ....
Your my new hero, amazing achievements you have done here.
Sorry, might spoil your lunch break over in Poodung but in terms of pics, your talking about the OP pics or the crappy ones you put up?
Watch your rear view mirrors, might pass you on the island one of these days. Ride safe, Pal
