Zennco YB125 info
Just purchased a Zennco YB125 in the UK, but having trouble finding the correct parts for it! I've recently changed the oil but really need to change the filter as well, but cannot find which filter this is. I have found a few websites in the UK such as Llexeter, that have parts for some Zennco models but not this one specifically, so don't know if one from another model will fit.
I know these Chinese manufacturers make named models for so long before changing them to another name, so was wondering if this model continues under another name? It is identical to the Kinlon 200 Super Motard, but obviously the engine would be different!
Apart from trying to find parts for this, the bike is an absolute blast to ride!
Any pointers to some UK parts websites would be most appreciated!

Re: Zennco YB125 info
Seeing what the engine looks like helps people identify the engine at least.
A quick Google shows that it can look like this:

Or this:

I think they're both Lifan engines. The top one is the older style and the bottom one is the newer one with balance shaft for smoothness.
They're basically a development of the old Honda CG125 OHV engine and I don't think they have a replaceable filter at all, just a wire mesh screen that catches the worst bits and has to be removed and cleaned ocassionally.
It's either on the right hand side of the crankcase or underneath and the cap that hides it looks a bit like a larger Honda 50 tappet inspection cap with a 17 mm hexagon on it.

Re: Zennco YB125 info
Thanks for that forchetto, I didn't realise the engine had been modified while still being manufactured by Zennco.
The bike I have is definitely the top one - the older model engine, so preumably does have the wire mesh filter.

Engine No. starts VA0 - don't know if that helps identify any related parts to a specific manufacturer - also stamped on the engine casing is 'LCJ03'
Appreciate the help, thanks again!

Re: Zennco YB125 info
CCrisis,
If I'm getting the model right, the bike is manufactured by a company called Kinlon which is a subsidiary of a larger manufacturer called Loncin. I believe KingMarty and a couple others on here have the same bike down in Oz-land.

Re: Zennco YB125 info
Just set up a website/journal/blog of my bike! The more things I find (part wise etc.) the more I'll post to let others share the info.

Sweet. I'll check it out! There are more than a few folks out there with the same model so I'm sure some folks will find it interesting and useful.
You got an plans to modify?

Re: Zennco YB125 info
I'll try to find a good supplier before I do any mods! First thing I'd do is the carb though - as it's still restricted!

Re: Zennco YB125 info
Try some of these suppliers on my links page - especially dcrmotorcycles. The clocks on this bike are fairly generic, so a local bike dealer may be able to source these for you.
