Are you back on USA soil?
I have heard a lot of bad things about them, as well as some people who had no problems... Myself I have had no dealings with them.
One of the ex members on china riders (don't believe he is a member here), ordered a gy5 from them, they sent him a gy2, there was shipping damage, and he didn't recieve the right paper work to legally title it. It seemed getting any support from them was really dificult as well. I have also heard of people doing fine with them though, but they difinetelty advertised a gy5 (with a picture of the balanced engine) to this guy, and sent him an unbalanced gy2.
Hello, Carl.
Were you able to obtain helpful information on ATVDiscounters? I'm in Denton, Texas, and they are located about 35-40 miles from me. They told me on the phone today their largest "store" is in Dallas, Texas. They have a second "store" in Ft. Worth, Texas.
Yesterday, at the large motorcycle show at the Dallas Convention Center, some people were making the same general inquiry.
A couple of us guys may check out their Dallas store in person sometime soon. Is there anything you would specifically like to know?
From what I heard at the show, several Chinese motorcycle manufacturers have chosen Dallas for their US headquarters. Lifan is among them. Despite the close proximity of these headquarters, information has been somewhat vague.

I sho' iz!
That's also the impression I get from reading around. Looks like we'll have to look elsewhere. The Northern VA are is seriously lacking any C-Moto representation...except for the small scooters, of course, which are selling like hot cakes.

Clone-Tron! Thanks from chiming in hombre.
Ummm... as much as possible? :icon10:
Yeah well they aren't exactly known for their marketing prowess. :rolleyes1:
I think there's some cultural chasms which need to be bridged first but that's not an easy task. They cold start by riding more. :scooter: :deal:

Welcome back then :)
Like I said, I did also hear about people having good experiences with them...
