Hello , help required

Hi.
I have a dream to rude across china. I would love to come buy a cheap bike and do it.

I have no idea where to begin so I'm hoping some knowledgeable good people can help. One pointer, the bike has to be cheap, I have small amount cash, but obviously good enough to hopefully not breakdown on journey, yes I know anything can happen but I think you understand my point. What price range do you need the bike in? What kind of ride across China? Back roads? How long are you going to ride? Do you have your license in China? Do you have your license in your home country?
