Re: New QingQi 250 Motorcycles! (QM250-2D, QM260-GY-B)
Oh yeah, thanks for noticing China V---I didn't notice the brand --- I had a Kenda K277 on my 200gy, and it gave me great service, but is nothing short of scary in the rain... Good off road traction and wore like iron, but if you ride in rain on pavement--no bueno....It was a fairly hard rubber compund, which made traction suffer in the wet. good tread pattern, but too hard----------again, hope this helps

@ MJH: TOTALY AGREE
thanks everyone
my old tire show me some scary acts in mud /snow/ and wet asphalt so im not going to have them another time
china v i think you are right ... as i searched over the web all customers are not fully satisfied with that K270 kenda
i want to use this bike just for offroad so i think the right one is the right one :)
cheers

Re: New QingQi 250 Motorcycles! (QM250-2D, QM260-GY-B)
Is that going on the Jinan 200cc? What size is it?
Re: New QingQi 250 Motorcycles! (QM250-2D, QM260-GY-B)
yes if jinan is the other name qingqi !!! it going to be fit on the QINGQI QM 200
mikuni TM 33.The stock carb of suzuki dr 200 is a mikuni 31 CV type .
Re: New QingQi 250 Motorcycles! (QM250-2D, QM260-GY-B)
Dear Nima,
What are you expecting this modification to accomplish? I'm not teasing. I don't understand carbs very well, so I really have no idea!
thanks
Re: New QingQi 250 Motorcycles! (QM250-2D, QM260-GY-B)
CV or constant velocity carbs are not so sensitive and the throttle response depends on the engine rpm not the position of piston slider
so engine has to make the first move for the diaphragm to get sucked up to the top and the slider following it , then RPM goes up
there is some kind of delay in this procedure and im expecting the new carb with bigger dimensions and mechanical acc pump and also piston slider
to act more aggressive and give fast throttle responses .the slider (flat piston in carb ) drive's directly with the throttle cables ... no vacuum needed .
Re: New QingQi 250 Motorcycles! (QM250-2D, QM260-GY-B)
Dear Nima,
Many thanks for that very useful explanation. Better throttle response is a fine motivation!
good luck with it, and be sure to take pictures of the process...
cheers

That is interesting mine has a Mikuni BS 28, the motorcycle manufacturer is Jinan Qingqi…I shorten names from left to right on leap days.

OH MY GODDDD
that was easy as 1.2.3 and may be 4.5.6 and done !
it starts the engine with first attempt an idle like a a a a don know anything similar !!:)))

that was not a hell of a job to picture ...some bolts off and some on but the result was so impressive ....throttle response was all i expected and it was there ...more power and pulling in low rpm , no strange acts in high rpm and keep pulling ... starts the engine so fine ....chock was in a good position and handy .... i did not mess with it ,carb is in factory mode ..... worthy
