Re: HK Bike Show MCM meet up
Hey Franki,
thanks for the pictures - for everyone who doesn't know, the schoolboy on the right is my youngest son (Pfaelzer Jr.), who can't wait to become a biker as well (so far he just can ride dirt track in Hong Kong due to his age). The other "boy" on the left is the famous ChinaV... everyone in our community knows well. It's a fun event in Hong Kong and I hope it gains more popularity in the future.
Great pictures ChinaV. Nobody can match your "eye" for beauty...
AW.

What does this do? Can we see the bike?

The bike is a Matchless G80CS.

I'm not sure what each of these handlebar controls does, I just thought they were elegant compared to the cheap plastic crap we get today. I think the lever is the choke, but it could also be a de-compression lever for kick starting the bike.

Some more elegance shown in this Sunbeam. I'm guessing this bike was built between 1925-1930.

Hi Pfaelzer & ChinaV,
It was great meeting up with you guys at the show. Too bad the time was a bit short. We should organise mini MCM meet up occasionally so I can shake the warm hands behind that monitor:goodtime:
Keep the great pictures coming, ChinaV
Cheers,
Franki
Re: HK Bike Show MCM meet up
One day, when i'm a grown up, i'll come join you guys and play bike as well...
Some nice classics there it would seem. That sunbeam is great, i love old bikes because you can see what everything does. The cylinder head is beautiful, as is that girder suspension with the springs under the parallelogram instead of inside it. mmmmmm....
And that Brammo electric bike looks even better in your picture than it does in the official renderings! Wouldn't mind giving one of those a whirl.

Great show pics Lorne. Looks like the babe photography just gets better... that shiz is all about timing.

Re: HK Bike Show MCM meet up
Here I found a nice and tasty Yamaha XT (250 or 500) conversion on the show.
