Re: Electric start problems
Could it be the electric start motor itself?
Re: Electric start problems
Possibly, it seems to work sometimes, but sometimes it doesn't.
The past few days I have came in off my bike, turned the ignition off and left the light switch in the ON position. This wouldn't run the battery right? Surely because the ignition is off it wouldn't? Just wondered if this could be related to the problem.
Re: Electric start problems
Too much possibilities.
the Honda shop manual will guides u how to finds the ??? http://uploading.com/files/get/7985bmfe/
Re: Electric start problems
its either sticking or the cocgs in the starter motor are worn hence only coming together at he unworn parts
Re: Electric start problems
This morning I have taken the side cover off to check the battery. The battery itself is fine, but I noticed a few sparks flying out from underneath the seat, behind the battery. Rather worrying.
Does this spark any other thoughts?

its probs a loose wire touching the frame have a look n check all wires
Re: Electric start problems
I will try and get the seat off over the weekend to take a look under and see what could be causing it.
This could also be the cause of my electric start playing up too.
Thanks for your suggestions guys! :icon10:
