Lexmoto Adrenalin 2017

Hello all who are reading this.

My son has just acquired a 2017 Lexmoto Adrenalin bike. Could someone please help with the following problem?

He could only start the bike via the button when the green neutral gear light was showing, is this normal?

Now the green neutral gear light is not showing and the bike will not start unless bumped start in second gear. All other red gear lights indicate when going up and down the gear box.

All other electrics appear to be working, lights, horn indicators etc.

Any ideas how to get the green neutral gear light working again?
