Ice Bear 110 cc Monkey Sidecar
I have been getting PMs from here and ADVrider about my new Ice Bear PBZ110-1P Z50 clone monkey sidecar so I am starting this thread for us to share information.
Some seem to be concerned about buying from http://www.saferwholesale.com/110cc-...%20monkeyp.htm where I bought mine. The delivery was slow as it arrived after two weeks. The MSO and official invoice arrived in the mail last week so all is well.

Really a fun bike to ride. Cheap way to experience a sidecar. I had just sold my Ural so needed a rig to ride the neighbor kids around on.
Just changed the front sprocket from 15 to 17 tooth last night to improve the gearing so that first gear will last more than across the intersection.
I'll let the PMer's know about this thread.
So far I have added the boat seat, added the number plate to hide the battery and wiring, and changed the front sprocket.

This is a good idea to break up your bike collection into different threads. We still haven't seen much about your Z50 replica, as your attention seems to be on this bike and the DAX replica. Of your three, I think I like this bike the best, although a CT70 is probably one of the first bikes I lusted after as a kid. This one seems to have all the fun 'stuff' rolled into one, and I bet if I had seen one of these as a kid, my taste in bikes would have been just a little slightly altered from the DAX!
Your Skyteam Z50 replica is very recognizable as a popular Honda model--this bike, is it a replica of an older Z50? It is definitely Honda Z50-ish, but older?
Re: Ice Bear 110 cc Monkey Sidecar
The Z50 clone is feeling like a red headed step child. The CT70 clone is the most practical of the three to ride but the hack is the most fun.
Nothing wrong with the red Z50 bike but I might just put it up for sale.

Speedometer app on my cell phone so I can check accuracy of the bike's speedometer. 32 F this morning so might be a while before I make a test run.

Re: Ice Bear 110 cc Monkey Sidecar
Still breaking her in at 300 KMs so trying not to run too hard. Ran up to 42 MPH GPS for a short spurt, had some more left. The speedometer reads 35 MPH and GPS shows 25 MPH. I assume the GPS is accurate.
Maybe replacing the 3.50-8 with 4.00-8 will improve accuracy and get some more gearing up which I think is needed.
That change will give a diameter increase of about 1" increase from 15" to 16" for approx 8 % increase in circumference.

Re: Ice Bear 110 cc Monkey Sidecar
A couple of questions for you Barnone.
1: How accurate a replica is it of the Honda Z50?
2: Is it a hard tail?
3: Could the frame accomodate 10" wheels and tyres?
Cheers.
Re: Ice Bear 110 cc Monkey Sidecar
1. Never owned or seen a real Honda Z50 that I can remember so not sure how accurate a replica.
2. The bike and the sidecar are both hard tails so therefore are rough riding on bumpy roads. I'm going to put a spring seat on it eventually which should help a bit. I have to take it slow on my rough driveway but it is fine on smooth gravel or pavement. Fun to slide her around on smooth gravel.
3. I'll check on clearance for 10" wheels. I do have some 4.00-8 tires on the way so that is my first choice.
