Boom, congrats on your new bike! I haven't seen that paint/label work before. Where are you from?

Hensim 250. 1400 km so far and no problems. It's a smooth and quiet little bike but pretty low on power, topping out at about 60 mph on flat ground. The engine is basically a Honda Rebel 250 clone but with some differences. Frame is a copy of the Suzuki GZ250. It does well around town, gets great gas mileage, and is pretty comfortable.Attachment 1347
Hugemoth... GZ250 frame with a Rebel 250 engine... now THAT'S open source China-motos for you right there! :lol8:
Do you think the top speed problem is a power issue or gearing issue?
CC
It's a power issue, rated at 16.3 hp on a 300+lb bike. The engine appears to be designed for high gas mileage and low emissions. Single small CV carb, catalytic converters, mild cam. Power drops off at about 6500 RPM where an engine this size really should run 9000. I dropped the rear sprocket from a 32 to a 30 tooth which is about right for the power curve.
Nice looking "made in China" Street Bike. It's cool.
