Ordering bike clothing/gear from EU shipped to China, worth the effort?
I've heard good things about biker-land.de and their non-EU customer prices are much better than I'm seeing for the same products in the US. (specifically Sidi boots)
I'm curious if anyone has experience ordering from them (or some other source in the EU) and having the product shipped to China.
I'm assuming there would be import tariffs but depending on how much, and how much hassle you had with customs (both big ifs) it might be worth it.
Curious if anyone has tried this and how it went, what the fee %s were and how much mafan. Would you try it again or not a chance?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Ordering bike clothing/gear from EU shipped to China, worth the effort?
I think it really depends on the size of clothing you're ordering. If it looks like it will fit the customs person checking into China, you're screwed. I had a lot of bad luck with sending stuff to China, finally gave up and just had it shipped to Hong Kong and walked it over the border. Other people I know never had problems.
You can try calling Sanwa Motorcycle in Hong Kong. They are the SIDI distributor.

They also have a shop in Zhuhai, so they may be able to send them to you without the customs hassles.
Cheers!
