Re: Hi from northern Nevada
Andy, sounds like you've got yourself a little project there. Do you know what model it is? Are there any numbers on the plastic?
If you can't tell, please post a pic of the bike and that will help a lot. Also, does the bike have any problems?

Re: Hi from northern Nevada
The only numbers that i have are the vin and the numbers on the engine. I got the bike for free because it wouldn't run. All I did was clean the plug and air filter and remove the paint and corrosion from the mating surface of the coil to the frame. Runs great now. All i need is the front fender. I will work on getting some pictures up.
Re: Hi from northern Nevada
Iceis, looking forward to the pics so we can identify what type or model it is. Is it a 200cc engine? The displacement should be cast somewhere on the cylinder head.

Re: Hi from northern Nevada
I couldn't find any numbers on the head. The only numbers i could find on the engine were towards the bottom, ZS167FML. I took pictures and will upload them as soon as I find the cable for my camera.
Re: Hi from northern Nevada
Did a little digging on the 167FML... looks like it's a 200cc engine. Here are some specs:

Re: Hi from northern Nevada
That is great intel on the engine specs, thank you. Here are some pics of the bike, I hope it helps.
Re: Hi from northern Nevada
The bike doesn't remind me of a Zongshen. Trying to place the frame but can't come up with anything but SUNL. You know what year it is? Got a VIN off the headtube?

Re: Hi from northern Nevada
the vin is LRYPCKL0350023653. The decoder that I ran on it said 2005, China, and gave the province but says make and model unknown.
Re: Hi from northern Nevada
I finally got a hold of the dealer that sold the bike and they told me it was a 2005 Zongshen Sierra 200. I tried to do some more research on this model and all I came up with was dual-sports... not what I have. Back at square one.
