Hey i live in Colombia South America and im about to get a QM200GY, bu i have a doubt... thing is they advertise the bike here as if it had 18 hp, but everywhere i look on the web i see qingqi says it has arround 15, the sales manager here says, they have a special version, because they simply asked qingqi to make the bike that way for our country... CAN THAT REALLY BE TRUE???

Basically, manufacturers can "tune" and engine for more or less power in many ways and for several reasons.
Sometimes they will over or under report specifications on paper as well for other reasons. Hard to tell unless you dyno your specific bike.
The power output of these engines is tested in a controlled environment and the actual power you receive will depend on lots of things from the quality of maintenance to the altitude at which you ride.
3hp is a difference worth looking into but I'm not really sure what "version" you receive.
My best guess is to not get too hung up in the numbers. Ride it, and if it feels good, then buy it. If not then look for something else! :thumbsup:

If they took the restrictors out (exhaust and air box) you get an immediate increase in power. Provided they had them in in the first place.Playing around with the jetting also helps.

If indeed many of the parts are identical, I think the first thing to try would be the DR200 carb.
