How these twin 250 compare to a thumper 250 in term of power, torque?

By a thumper do you mean a single cyl. thing like the Suzuki Savage?
It's difficult to answer as I haven't owned or ridden that many bikes.
All of the above Carl. I'm not very technical but some of them have really changed the bikes. And yes, some are so noisy that they are sent to back when we're out ...
You'll see a couple of custom bikes in this short video (both Lifan's I believe):

otherwise ...

You're right Peter, thumper = mono
Nice customs, they look bigger than the cc of their engine might let think.
Seen the youtube video. That's cool to see so many "bad" guys in black leather riding some Chinese bikes.
Bring them to the forum I'm sure they have lot of ride reports or technical knowledge to share.
Dude...the Denmark CMoto club is boss! I really think it's the strongest C-Moto only community in the world. I hope it grows large and strong like the Nordic Winters! Hammer of the Gods...RAH!

Imagination is what lacks the most to Chinese bike manufacturers. Their existing low end interior and export markets are so huge that they have no incentive to be creative. IMHO they have everything to build some original quality wise light/medium displacement bikes.
A 250cc V-twin with good torque in low revs will be sweet and unique in a dual sport/adv bike.
Since they use mostly Japanese designes to help cut on costs I thinka good 250cc vtwin enduro engine might be hard to make. They seem to have some cruiser type VTwins but I don't think those will be compact enough for dirt use.
What would be a really sweet adventure tourer/killer commuter is if they made/used a good parallel twin. I know it doesn't have the same feeling as a V but I think parallel twins are cool and would be easier to fit into existing frames.

True, but wouldn't that make the frame manufacturing process more complicated? We are starting to see some perimeter frames coming out though.
