Chrome, sandblasting and other plating in Shanghai ?

Hi,

everybody i am working on a fun custom project.
I am looking for a place where i could get some parts sandblasted / blasted, and better chromed or plated.

Would you know of any places in Shanghai ?

Xiao Fan (CJ / Jialing shop Shanghai - Hongqiao) should have some contacts for plating but during my CJ days many years ago wasn't very impressed with the chrome plating done to bike parts in general . The biggest problem in China is quantities, everyone wants to handle at least a 100 dozen parts and they should be all identical......

...you can't polish a turd but you can roll it in glitter..... Mate, sorry- couldn't resist.....

Hi Antoine,

I'm also scratch building a bike in Shanghai. I've found some cool resources - little machine shops for one off parts etc and have been recommended a chrome plater near Beijing who will do one off stuff. It's hard to find people that'll do this kind of thing here. TB- Racing is right about the majority of places here set up for manufacturing in quantity.

I also need some sand blasting but, I've not found anywhere yet.
