Greetings - new Konker 200 owner
Greetings from snowy Ontario, Canada.
Been riding 20+ years, have probably owned 50+ bikes (understanding wife - had 8 in the garage at one point). Economic melt-down had me cull the herd (self-employed).
I've rebounded last year and found an '09 Konker 200 for $1700 w/6 month warranty and felt I needed to treat myself. Couldn't help myself. Really looking forward to the spring thaw and getting out on the wee beast.
Searching for a rear rack, mychinamoto came up high on the google search - so here I am. ;)

Welcome, as one KLR guy to another. I think you are not the only MCM member in Ontario. Don't envy you your winters, but great riding when the weather breaks!
Surely that Konker goes by other names. I think someone here will heed your call for help.
good luck!
cheers

Welcome!
http://www.mychinamoto.com/forums/sh...ghlight=konker is one of the most recent, lots of folk on here have or have had those machines so you will find plenty of info. The best rear rack is the Crazy Carl one but he cannot get anymore since a year past. I am sure others will have ideas and adaptations. Use the search function and you will find stuff.

klr_guy,
If you have the Super Moto version like I have (Qlink XF200) then you can modify a Yamaha XT225 rack to fit like others and I did.
Might work on the Dual Sport version.
I got mt rack off Ebay (search XT225 rack).

Others are available.
I had to remove the passenger grab handle, trim the arms to fit under the plastic, drill some new holes, and use some longer bolts and spaces. I also painted it black.

If you are interested, I will take some more detailed photos.
Re: Greetings - new Konker 200 owner
Barnone, thanks for the rack review. Was hoping to find a rack for my Qlink XF200, ready to bolt on, i.e. no trim / drill required... phooey?

Hum... Thx... I don't read Chinese... heck of a tease (I mean that good-naturedly)... that's a good looking rack. If offered in the US, I'd buy it! Phooey

No need to read Chinese. Read my post over on chinariders about buying one and having it shipped to the states. I purchased a rack and a performance CDI and had it shipped here. No problems and great products.

Moon!!! Too cool. I placed the order for a ready-to-bolt-on rear rack for my Qlink XF200. About $20 (not including International shipping fee.) Will let you know when rack comes in and gets bolted on. Thanks again for the G2. Clark
