How to get a Chinese Motorcycle License

Hi. I heard now in Shanghai can make the motorcycle driving test in English. Can someone confirm if is this true?

hello all. i just realised my shanghai licence expired in may 2022 . any chance i can renew it ? and renew from Australia? =D

Probably not. Mine expired in 2021, and it's impossible to renew without being there in person. Even if you show up, you won't meet the visa requirements without a residency permit. But it is China... good luck.

As ChinaV states it's not possible to obtain/renew PRC DL from outside of the mainland for foreign passport holders. Foreigners wishing to renew a PRC drivers license need to be inside PRC and present to the public security bureau to facilitate the renewal. Foreigners also need the correct visa.
