Spring Motorbike Rides around Beijing

while some of our fellow riders are still working at their bikes (or cannot decide which one to ride), we are on the roads again.
on the Season-Opening-Ride we visited Mutianyu Great Wall, which is just around the corner for us.



last weekend, for the 1st time, we could gather a nice, bigger group of riders/bikes. 3 Sidecars, 2 Harleys and an old "Coffeeracer"

on Monday, 4th April, we will ride the long and windy mountainroad to Shidu. I hope the trees are flowering now!
if somebody is out there, brave enough to mount his/her bike for a 380 km daytrip! you are welcome to join in!

It's not motorcycle season until Sabine posts her first video, and this year we got two :clap::clap::clap:

I'm sure the scenery will get more and more beautiful as everything blossoms around Beijing.

at the 4th of April we have been high up in the Mountains of Shidu.
enjoy!, 1 Harley, 2 Jialing and 5 Sidecars on their way from Early-Spring-Blossoms in Beijing to the last Snowfields above 1000m altitude.

last weekend, 9th of April, we also have been on the road, but there is no video, because I rode a Sidecar on my own.

we made a ride, we called "5-Passes-Ride", it is also known as the "Alpine-Loup" by Jim.

I love to be in a "mixed" group: 3-Wheeler and 2-Wheeler. that is a challenge! different kind of people and different kind of riding stiles, but with a little bit of tolerance we even have more fun than alone.

today, April 11th, the temperature in Beijing climbed up to 25 degree, blue Sky! colorful flowers everywhere; and end of the week, weather report says, that we will hit 30 degree for the 1st time this year! spring lasts only 4 weeks in this region. maybe, there will be another ride next weekend, but I am not so sure, because Thomas and I will have a long lasting holiday in Mexico; starting 20.04.2011.

....... but watch out for the post: Dragonboat-Festival-Ride to Chongli, 04th - 06th of June! you all will be invited! we only need another ~ 5 days for collecting information.
