Strange or not, this thing produce 90W!
And how much you can get from standard 5+1? Some 70W?

Thanks.
New stator didnt help! Stator is identical to stock. HOW do I know if CDI is AC or DC. CDI is smaller 5 pin squarer single connector.Attachment 8203Attachment 8200Attachment 8201Attachment 8202:confused1:
U get at least 1?v if kick start repeatably from source coil ie the "ext" http://www.sanxin.com.cn/Exhibit/exhview.asp?pid=3
AC if it's small. You can also trace wiring if it's using a DC (Got the juice after "rectifier")
the gap btw Pulse coil & rotor is also important to tell the CDI when to make a spark.

Is 0,3-0,5 mm correct gap?
Thank you for the pics to explain, big help. This may be a dumb question, but does the ignition coil need to match the AC or DC CDI ? Or is it universal?

:confused1:
I would be surprised if it turns out that there is a separate coil for AC or DC CDI.
The so called chinese "generic" DC-CDI uses SAME ignition coil as AC-CDI. (电容 type)
The (电感 type) is different animal. For example: Suzuki 125 or the those hi-end "upgrade"
Translate these get the basic idea: http://www.motorfans.com.cn/bbs/t_17374516_1.htm | http://www.sanxin.com.cn/Exhibit/exhview.asp?pid=62
I have spark  . A previous owner had a DC CDI installed, and it was fried. Replaced with AC CDI, and spark is good. Good enough to zap me :lol8:. Thanks for the help. Still more to do see you next post.
