China Rider Exchange Program!
Thanks to Chinabiker's help, Glen Heggstad (Known as Striking Viking online) has managed to sponsor an adventure rider from China to tour the US for about a month.
Assuming all goes as planned, he should be starting his journey in the US from LA come the last week of October. So far in the first 24hours, riders have raised 600 bucks to help him on his way around the US. Now that's moto-lovin-licious!
Check out the thread below on ADVRider for more info and wish him luck!

Re: China Rider Exchange Program!
Greetings All,
For those of you who have not been following Lu Fei's adventure over on ADVRider, you've been missing a good story. Including some nail-biting from two weeks ago.
Lu Fei blew in to Colorado (Literally) the day before yesterday. He spent last night at my house and enjoyed his first "real" Chinese food since he arrived in the U.S.
We rode out this morning so he could continue his adventure. It was only about 28 degrees F this morning, but clear-blue skies everywhere. I helped him to choose his route through some of our excellent Colorado roads and passes. He should be in Moab, UT tomorrow.
Cheers,

Right on Dan! Glad you guys got to meet up! Did he seem to be having a good time and taking the riding well?
He'll LOVE Moab... it's like a dual sport/mountain biking heaven out there.

Re: China Rider Exchange Program!
CC,
I can say he's literally having the ride of his life. Just enough "adventure" to keep it interesting, and lots of new experiences.
He's going to be meeting another ADVRider out in Moab, so he should get a good taste of the riding there also. I've been to Moab many times and still can't get enough of that area. Great trail bike, maountain bike riding and climbing, and hiking, and . . .
BTW, one can follow Lu Fei's daily progress via SPOT:

It's identified as "Jeffry's" SPOT as it is a loaned unit.
