HELP! lexmoto xtrs 125cc idling too low?
hi i recently bought a 2nd hand lexmoto which had 20,000 miles on the clock. the problem is that this morning on the way to college, everytime i hold the clutch in on the bike when stopping at lights the engine cuts out (this happened at every single light/junction/roundabout i hit). to get it going again i had to pull the choke fully out then cycle up to 2nd gear then slowly close the choke. my idle speed is pretty low so i dont know if thats the problem or not. i cant find the idle control screw anywhere on the carburetor as this bike is like no other iv had. its pretty stressful approaching a roundabout and the bike shuts down haha. i will also add it needs oil which i planned on buying today anyway. thanks :D

Have you sorted out the idle problem?
Re: HELP! lexmoto xtrs 125cc idling too low?
Yeah turns out theres a whole Pandoras box wrong with it.
Idle speed too low
Carburettor packed with shit
Fuel jets delivering too much fuel when accelerating
Faulty spark plug
And the fuel vaccum was on its way out
Re: HELP! lexmoto xtrs 125cc idling too low?
Strip and clean the carb out
Lean off the fuel mixture by about 1/8 of a turn
And replace the faulty parts and go from there
