Re: Shineray / XinYuan X5 review
I didnt know that the codes on bearings are universal. I thought that is just model/type or something. Great to know, thanks. Ive found this afterwards https://www.mrcycles.com/page/bearings
My front sprocket is in a bad shape after 7500km, rear is still ok.
When I changed my rear sprocket from OEM 40teeth to 44teeth I needed to change the chain too. Bought DID from taobao but it was fake. Have to adjust it every 500-600km. Fed up with fake s*** here. I will get a genuine chain in Europe so I might as well buy front sprockets. They are only about RMB70 on www.wemoto.com
Yesterday Ive noticed some unusual vibrations in my pegs. It progressed during the ride and at the end was a bit worse. Not sure whats this. I can feel the vibrations more when I pull in the clutch and roll the bike at 30-40km/h. I wanted to change the chain anyway so I will do the sprockets and bearings. will see if it continues
Re: Shineray / XinYuan X5 review
I saw DID chains on Taobao for sale for 100 RMB or less.
When something sounds so cheap, normally it not real.
When you consider DID sell for about 800 RMB or more in the real world.
Re: Shineray / XinYuan X5 review
Yeah, I paid 650 and thought will get genuine for this price. That shop was highly rated too......
Re: Shineray / XinYuan X5 review
Just 1 bit of advice I can give, is CFMoto uses real DID Chains on the TR-G, NK and MT bikes. (520 Type)
Now, these may be the correct length or if too long can be cut down with a chain splitter.
There use solid link connection type and the last 2 I used I
got over 35.000 km before it needed to be changed.
like real DID chains should not need to adjust for the first 20.000 km.
Could be worth a look.
Re: Shineray / XinYuan X5 review
Good to know Prince. Thanks
Ill prolly buy a chain from cfmoto official store
Re: Shineray / XinYuan X5 review
Check with a dealer or online to find out how many links the 3 CFmoto chain's have the TR-G will be the longest one.?
Then check your bike to see how many links yours has.
Remember CFmoto chain's are 520 type.
And CFmoto chain's are "O-Ring" type as well.
Re: Shineray / XinYuan X5 review
Mine is also 520. I can adjust the length no problem. Ill be changing my gearing slightly so Ill need to adjust the chain anyway. Thanks
