And unlike the smaller bike often had no more to give at the top of the rev range.
Actually, and maybe it's just the specific bike I was using, I found it maxed out at 6k in sixth gear with the throttle wide open. I managed a top speed of about 148Nice chugging power though.
. Less vibey at speed.. Another rider said that might be because the screen is bigger so less wind, dunno, I although inexpert would put it down to the fact it's a single not twin cylinder.
Cool day:thumbsup:
Ok question.
WOULD YOU BUY ONE.?
In real terms, the 148Kmh is only about 130 Kmh if you're lucky.

Even a air cooled Shineray X5 has 30HP.

This HP is incorrect for the RX4- I'll get the correct one and post this evening.

I don't know if I'll buy one and in real terms 148km /ph is 148 km per hour.. A I wrote.
I think you tend write in a way that you would speak.. so you write in a figurative way... with more feeling than clarity mate, when you say this " is only about 130 Kmh if your lucky" , it SOUNDS as if you are disputing what I saw with my own eyes as to the top speed I acheived- what I THINK you're actually stating here is that one would comfortably squeeze 130km per hour from the engine... normal highway riding- not that you are disputing my top speed gained. Perhaps you could clarify.
That's a MAX speed/.. anyway, how fast do you want to go?
your/you're - personal bug bear with misspeeling these words...
I'm not a champion for a brand... but trust me I had an amazing time and Zongshen paid. :)
Keep the comments coming and, again sorry for the pictures. I found actually I could have taken my laptop along with plenty of downtime on some of the days and ample storage on the bike and back-up vehicles...

Here's why....
#1 Every photo hosted on MCM costs the site money in bandwith charges.
#2 When you upload pics to MCM directly, they look like shit.
#3 Photo's hosted offsite load much faster.
#4 Offsite photos display much larger, so we get to see more detail.
Thanks for contributing, the RX's look cool.
Granted , I need to take this stuff more seriously in future if I'm to make it a more full time passion and or make money in this field.
Re: rx3s and rx4 test ride
seems you guys are more interested in the bigger single cylinder rx4... The marketing guy on the Trip, Mr Wang said this is aimed at more experienced riders... especially re. off road riding.
The comparison was made above with the X5.. I saw one of these at the biker meet in Jiangmen and it seemed rather sleek compared to the bikes we were riding (granted ours had aluminium top case and side cases) but the X5 is far more off road biased I guess. I rode one for six days alone in Yunnan last year and found the X5 a lot of fun.. correct me if I'm wrong, it's only 150kg in weight the rx4 is 200kg and 450cc.
Again, I'll get the HP for the RX4 and RX3s in a bit and post.
