hats off to them. They are good enough to me.
Nice! Would love to see the underside of those scooters, serious scraping going on there!
Those concrete roads can have incredible grip when the surface is just right. Sometimes i even prefer them to tarmac.
Cool, we do that amount of lean on similar roads. Only problem is one bit of dropped sand or gravel and it's ssssssssccccccccrrrrrrrrreeeeeeeee, thud thud, low side, no disrespect can happen to anyone, including me.
If anyone wants to go on roads like this I can take you.
http://www.motof.org/thread-118764-1-1.html It's somewhere in 新兴, West Guangdong. PM that guy for details .
Looks like the same road seen in this video featuring the only KLR650s I've ever seen in China:

(for the nth time, if anyone can teach me how to insert the youku screen, i'd be grateful. framing the URL seems not to work.)
Copy the unique part of the code from the url, in this case it's
XMTc2Mjc5NzA0
and put it in the youku brakets
That guy is from Fujian & filmed on the way to http://zh.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E6%B9%...AA%E5%8E%BF%29
They were getting upwards of around 90 km/h on the fastest parts and averaging around 70 km/h. So 60 mph on the straights and 45 mph on the twisties. This IS indeed fast, but not anywhere near as fast as the bad quality video makes it look. You'd think they were doing 85 mph in the twisties by the quality of the video. (Still it makes for a great vid and they are stiull flying through there for sure!).
This was in his fastest sprint through the straight when he looked down because of how fast he was going.

I did a similar speed on my scooter which reads in km/h and had my iphone reading MPH on my GPS app.

That speed is VERY fast in the corners and they are hauling even at 45 MPH, it's just not QUITE as dramatic as the video makes it look. :)
I still have yet to see a Chinese scooter with a working speedometer. Even my friend's Yamaha would repeatedly give readings that were about 15-20 Kph greater than what I was getting on my motorcycle.
