Yantsepete,
Talked to my wife and she said that she didn't want to go since she had terrible altitude sickness at Cusco (12,000feet) but I am good to go.
Is a non side car bike available? What documents do I need other than a passport and a USA Florida drivers license with motorcycle endorsement?
Barnone! Now that's what a call an excellent wife!
I'm thinking you could pack the Pitster Pro in your carry-on and lash it to the stern of one of those Wehrmacht buggies. Give a shout if your itinerary includes Shanghai.
cheers
i have a Solo Chang, like a Brick on two Wheels, but Fun to Ride.
I would need A Copy of your Passport, Copy of chinese Visa, a Copy of your national Bike License and if you are working in China a Letter from your Company. Details about what should be in this letter i can send to your email.
Otherwise i may have some Yamaha YBR in Lhasa available from a friend. The thing is you would be much faster with this bike but you could go back and forward circling around us.
yes peter, you could use my ybr 250 yamaha when available ;.- booking good though this year! have fun and see you motorcycling in tibet - heinri www.asiabiketours.com
I had a coworker buddy do this ride last year and stated it was awesome he loved it and want to do it again. Maybe one day I can do this myself..... providing the wife approves LOL
