Peru looks like a fantastic place to ride. My daughter is moving to Cuzco from Oregon next month and I hope to spend a few weeks there next year.
I've not been to Cuzco yet, but if it is like anywhere else in Peru---be careful! They don't follow ANY road rules here. They seem to lack the instinct to look before they pull out, and they have no problems sharing your lane with you and running you into the ditch..... Pretty amazing more aren't killed here. The have the same road rules as the U.S., but they are not enforced at all. It took me a long time to stop expecting people to do what they are supposed to do. When you get on a nice piece of road away from the towns, it's a beautiful place to ride!
