Mine clonks as well when going over speed humps or if I hit a pot hole, on ordinary smooth roads or when static it is fine, it is the head bearings no doubt about it.

Hi Phil
All good your end......
Hi Phil.........as said.......mine clunks over small bumps.....manhole covers......low pāvement edges......anything where the road is not perfectly flat :-(
Hi Tweet
If Phil is correct which I am sure he is...
Did you replace the FULL Bearing kit including the collars?
When the 1sr set failed at 1800 miles, the shop replaced them under warranty. ......as to what they replaced I do not know.
Going to try something different at the weekend. .......strip everything off the forks, so I have just the bare forks hanging off the headstock.
See if I can feel any play.....try each leg individually. .......then 're assemble and feel for play or clunk as I go.
Running out of ideas.
Good luck

2nd set............1st set in when it was new..........2nd set replaced under warranty..........I hope it can be cured, cos I don't fancy paying Ģ72 for 2 caged roller bearings, when a taper roller bearing set for most other bikes are onkyv Ģ27 on E, Bay
