WK 125 sport SPEEDO IS WAY OFF HELP
Ok 1st post....so i bought a 2016 wk 125 sport yesterday... tidy bike but is abit noisy with vibration. Riding home i noticed it said i was doing 70 when i was clearly doing around 45-50... haha. Anyone had this issue with a bike before? Cant be speedo cable... dont know if i should change the speedo drive or the clocks. What if i get another wrong speedo? Please help

Did you check it with a GPS or are you just guessing?
And most bikes run fast from 7% to 10% and that when you have a good bike. lol
Or because your bike is a Chinese brand it could off been set up for KMh and as been marked up MPH so at 80 KMh is 50 MPH.

So, you ride 50, and speedo shows 70? This looks like problem with the speed gauge. Pinion and cable could show different symptoms.

How can i diagnose which one. Thought would be speedo drive or speedo instrument
Re: WK 125 sport SPEEDO IS WAY OFF HELP
Bad/worn/damaged pinion and/or cable makes speed gauge jerking, before they eventually die and the gauge stays on 0.
So, it looks that you have a problem with the clock.
And I presume that the biggest problem will be how to open this clock, not how to fix it.

I would just buy another one but i cant find one to buy anywhere.....???
Because i dont know how to change gears without breaking...unless i get an electronic speedo on the newer models. I can get the different speedo drive but dont know if the loom would fit?

Holly cow, it appears that this WK is fitted with the speedo on display. Those are not my cup of tea. If is crucial for you to have speedo, you can use as provisional solution, till you don't fix it, those cheap bicycle speedos with magnet.
