all electrics work but wont start! but will start when i unclip the ignition loom?

all electrics like indicators and lights and brakes and electric start works on my sj125gy-3a but no spark? but when i detach the ignition loom it sparks then and starts? what could it be? iv checked the wires and they look fine.

What do you mean by the ignition loom?

Can you get a spark against the engine case with the plug on the wire?

Just speculating, but I think by disconnecting the ignition loom you're isolating the kill switch and the engine starts. Either you have the kill switch in the wrong position or it's shorting to chassis internally.
These switches work by short circuiting the CDI module input to chassis.
