Why are motorcycles so expensive in Brazil, Honda manufactures a full line of models in Brazil they are not imports, they are made in Brazilian factories. From a 100cc step through to a CB1000R are made in Brazil. The CB1000R retails in Brazil for $19,500.00 USD, that is like a HD in China who get those and how many are they selling? In the UK that bike sells for $15,000USD, it gets cheaper crossing the Atlantic? It even get cheaper yet coming to the USA, it sells for $11,760.00.
I am not sure were the CB1000R selling in the UK comes from but, the ones selling in the USA come from Italy. The assembly takes place in Italy and the engine is made in Japan. Its probably better and certainly cost less.
In Italy the CB1000R sells for $13,500.00, all things considered taxes etc, the prices are not that different between Italy and the USA.
What makes the CB1000R in Brazil worth $7,000.00 more, in the country it is made in? Honda is making and selling in Brazil and getting rich off that? I have to wonder if they can actually reduce the margins there and still make money? It could be that setting up in Brazil cost a lot, who knows but something seems screwed up.

That’s a 200cc with a balance shaft, probably an OHV? Bet that they are so inexpensive in Peru.
Velorex? That's the name of the factory that produced sidecars for Jawa motorcycles.
Although, nothing can surprise me anymore. Today, when you say Stoye, someone will say that it is properly said Stoya. :lol8:
I am kind of surprised that the Kymco Pipe has a 31'' seat height...the 125cc is rated at 8.1 hp and its curb weight is about 264 lbs.

ZF-Kymco manufactures this very acceptable version of a CUB, they call it a COLT which is a good name for it.
I do not know why, but on sites of most Chinese factories, such mopeds/mokicks are in the section with classic underbones.
