LED headlight bulb or bulbs for the street.
Anyone running an LED headlight bulb in their street bike?
I've seen a few that run at 25watts and put out a good amount of light.
25 watts on DC current may not work to well with my bikes stator output & battery capacity.
The current headlight bulb and parking lamp bulb run on AC current.
I'm thinking of going LED on both after a little wiring configuring.
I think I need a bulb for the headlight that doesn't use as many watts.
Also, I do not ride the bike at night, only the day time.

these cost 10 dollars each and 3 dollars and 25cents to install, that took one hour because panels had to be removed and placed where there was a reflector.... what a price.. I love China
i also have a headlight LED....cant find a photo of it inside..but make sure you buy one with a built in fan...
12 watts but puts out 30,,, very bright low energy consumption.
the driving lights above also have the ability to flash quickly for as long as you want...nice for alerting idiots on the road!:gun_bandana:

Where did you get your 12w bulb from?
Is it bright?
How many lumens?

i threw away the box...it is very bright,,,no need for halogen 7000 or 6000 etc..old school, cant touch them etc..expensive... these LCD also are 6000 or 7000k and can be shaken to death,,no glass etc...
dont buy one that has several small diodes in a cluster,, it puts outs blank spots...you want a large diode, one on each side for high and low beam....they also come three sided..but i dont have that style. of course the driving lights have only one diode.
you drive with these on during the day..they will save your ass, because in the USA no one is looking for motos
Re: LED headlight bulb or bulbs for the street.
Have ordered LED lights for my 650TK. Have skipped HID as LEDs offer lower wattage for significantly powerful light spread.
