I am curious, can the 300cc Linhai scooter be purchased in china?
This advertisement seems to make me think it can be? That’s a nice looking scooter with 16” rims and its rated at 20hp.

MJH, there used to be Linhai shops around in the city where I live, but they closed like a couple of years ago. And I don't think Linhai has its own dealership network anymore. They're still selling their 36cc scooters in the outskirts of the city through the local dealers, but that one that you posted - never saw it. And the weirdest thing is that http://www.linhaigroup.com seems to have stopped working.
They have a website here, not sure what happened to the websites hosted on Chinese servers?

These website pretty much represents what should be happening, the others are what should not exist, if they do they need to be managed better.
