DONG FANG RTC 250 Sports Model - HIGH REV AFTER TH CABLE REPALCE

For some reason My DF-RTC250 Is Running at 6000RPM even when the throttle is down. How do i adjust it to go back to normal idle? Are there more then one screw on the Carberator that i need to adjust together to get it back to optimal settings?

What other issues could it be?

So i have double checked all the Throttle Cable Linkage. After some more research I think it might be a vaccum leak.

Are there any tips or tricks to fix this issue?

If its not a vaccum leak what else could it be?

I have the same issue . I've messed with the carb a bit and it helps. And let me guess when you give it throttle it dies ? Its in the car. My new one will be in tomorrow. I have a question for you also. I have a line attachet to my fuel tank, with a long hose coming off it.. well it came off and I have no idea where it hooks up to after the tank. Can you look and see where it is on your bike and lmk.? Its the hose way up under the tank. I'll let you know what my bike does after I replace the carb.

Did you have the slide out?
If so then you probably put it back in wrong.

fixed my problem, took the gas tank off to find that the throttle cable was kinked under the gas tank. that made the slide remain open and was stalling the bike. fixed cable and tuned the carb and problem solved. hope this helps.
