I did not link to the Russian website, some of the images are kind of painful, particularly the one with the second wife helmets, I thought I would spare people the agony.

I do not know the story behind that engine, it looks like a Chinese CMX250 cylinder block and head cover…but it is only a 223cc single cylinder and also has dual exhaust ports. I think somebody got creative in the machine shop? Its rated at 13kw-17.68hp…It could be the piston and crank of the 223cc single bore into a CMX250 blank block? Maybe the two marry at the crank with the same specifications? It looks like a cobbled design, but it may work well?

I saw a report from some Polish motorcycle show, where the guys from Romet said that they have developed a new engine...

I think they just altered the appearance of a 223cc OHC single, inside I bet they are all about the same.

The Russians are either exaggerating the hp (+1.5) on their website or the horned helmet and red leather outfits make it more powerful.


Its a cool bike and worth about 2.5K USD on the road not any more then that, that link has them for $2,200.00 including VAT. I bet that the Russian bike cost more do to import tax.

Can I get Romet to sponsor me?

I do not think they sell those outside of Poland do they.
