Farmer, welcome and nice to have you on!
Most people in China will tend to buy simple bikes for transportation and usually cost between 3,000 to 5,000RMB for domestic brands around 150cc. Some of the newer 200 and 250cc bikes in China start at about 7,000 and can go up to 12,000RMB.
Japanese brands like Yamaha, Suzuki and Honda can run from about 5,500RMB on up for both scooters and motorcycles.
You riding a Lifan or Regal Raptor in Denmark?

$900 for a reasonable quality 125
$1,300-$1,750 for a good 150-250cc machine (export quality)
Farmer,
Curious, what is the current cost of Chinese bikes in Denmark? Have you seen any new models released over there in the past year?

hi Carl
I am often surprised how cheap chineese bikes are in Denmark as we have high taxes on motorvehicales-But there is a bottom limit of appr 1400US (under that amount there is no tax )and most chineese bikes go comftable under that.pt you can find a 125cc for ca 1000 US and a 250 for ca 1500 US ex delivery and registration. You will have to pay ca 4000 US for a Yamaha 125cc-bacause its more expensive in the first place and therefore also subject to tax.So the cheap chineese bikes hit a lucrative hole in our tax system-and we see a lot of them on the steets now-for those of you interested in our danish chinabike club go to

Farmer,
I've tried to access Kinoj at least a dozen times over the past 6-7 months and can never get in to the forums. Some members have given me passwords but when I enter them in the page, it does not accept and asks for name and password again! :frump:
