Who Is the Engine Manufacturer for the Roketa 250 Dirt Bike?
Hello, did a search on this and couldn't find any threads out there with information. I am curious as to which Chinese manufacturer builds the engine for the Roketa DB-08R-250(LHJ) dirt bike. Here is a link: http://www.roketa.com/product/produc...=0&proID=59662
It's a 229cc, air-cooled, single with a balance shaft. Any information would be appreciated. Just want to learn more about this bike. Attempting to add an image of the bike here--not sure it will work. Attachment 18970

Chongqing Astronautic Bashan Motorcycle Manufacturing Co., Ltd.
This comes right from the Excel list for 2016 on-highway EPA/DOT certified motorcycles. Keep in mind, some companies have certified others' engines as their own. TMEC uses a Zongshen engine in their enduro but on the same certification list, it lists TMEC as their own manufacturer. I guess some companies list themselves as the OEM, while others (i.e. Cleveland Cycle Werks) show a third company as their OEM (Cleveland uses Lifan engines according to the same list).
If you scroll down to 2016 'Certified Highway Test Result Data' you can see all kinds of data. You have to move the columns to see the full names for some areas such as Manufacturer and engine manufacturer. https://www.epa.gov/compliance-and-f...es-and-engines

No problem! Have you joined Chinariders.net? This site is great, but Chinariders has many more North American members who know the bikes available in North America.
