Are you thinking about building a Z50 sidecar race bike or a two wheeled Z50 race bike?
This is my Z50 clone 2013 Sky Team ST125-8A.

It is not a hardtail. I believe that 10'' wheels will fit it.
Some info for 10" wheels on hard tail here

I purchased a plastic trailer fender with a skirt in order to keep the monkey's finger out of the sidecar wheel.

Had to do some trimming of the fender to get it to fit but no big deal. I think it will provide the protection that I needed.
Just need some smaller fender washers to finish the job. Two bolts through the existing bracket secured the front and two pipe clamps secured the back. Just need to extend the skirt a bit in the front and add some running lights to complete the project.
Just changed the front and driver wheel to 4.00-8 from 3.50-8. Gained about 3" in circumference from 47" to 50" which should correct the speedometer a bit and add a little more gear. The sidecar would not take the increase in size so it stays a 3.50.
I'm going to have to get me one of those sidehack clones.... Too tempting.
Also... For $200 from Walmart, this is very tempting. If only they carried a larger version.

I've seen photos on the web where people fit them with higher seat posts and bars so adults could ride them. I'd probably be tempted to put a 5 speed rear hub on it too.
Neat bicycle.
I was riding her today and am getting good at flying the car. Great fun. I'm now legal riding her as she is registered in FL.
I'll ride her to the Dragon on Sunday morning assuming it is not raining.

At the Cheoah Dam (aka The Fugitive movie dam) on my way to run the Dragon. Kinda cold here in the mountains of Western North Carolina.

On the way back home. Warmed up nicely.
Cruises at 35 MPH GPS, tops out at 45 MPH GPS with 17/32 and 4.00-8 tires. Speedometer is now off by 5 MPH optimistic at 30 MPH indicated. 30 MPH speedometer is 25 MPH GPS.
The sidecar's turn signal(s) look bogus. Are they two rubber stalks bac-to-back?
I'm definitely getting one of these to clean things up.

Are you riding the Z50 monkey clone bike much? What does it look like it might cruise at?
