Hello All
Im looking for a mechanic for my CJ.
Currently i`m living in Jiangyin, its around 40 km from Wuxi.
Have some really bad noise coming from right side.
If any one knows some good place for repairs I will really appreciate.

I have a great mechanic up river in Nanjing. I had lots of issues with two other local mechanics till I met this guy in 2008. He fixes things before they break and shows me the reason why before he does anything and is very reasonable. I do not tell you this because I think you need to ship your bike 80 miles to Nanjing for service but you might give this guy a call ans see if he knows anyone in or near Wuxi. Most of the good mechanics are former PLA guys who rode and worked on these 15-20 years ago and it is a surprisingly tight knit group around Nanjing. If you are interested, send me a PM and I will give you his phone number. He only speaks Chinese so if you do not speak Chinese, you need someone to translate.

we have a very good CJ shop here in suzhou if that helps. Pretty much same deal as aggie above me, but he speaks a bit of english. PM me for contacts!
It is a great shame, however, that you didn't post this message a couple of days earlier as a group of 10 sidecars rode up to jiangyin from suzhou this weekend, with mechanics and parts support! oh well...

But anyhow, I already hire small truck and i`m going to Suzhou on saturday, hope to come back by myself...

Great to hear you found a local guy with an honest heart. Some of these guys are really great guys. I was very happy when I finally found one in Nanjing.
