Jialing 600/650cc inline 4 cyclinder 4 stroke rumour
Jialing, yes J i a l i n g are said to be manufacturing a 600 or 650cc inline 4 cylinder 4 stroke naked road bike, on sale at the moment in the high 39K price bracket... this is according to a serious motorcycling mate I was speaking too yesterday late arvo. He's in Taizhou at the moment and has seen a couple in the flesh, and consequently has laid coin on booking one, as have around a half-a-dozen of our riding mates that are part of our riding circle in these parts. I can't reveal anything more, as I have no other information at the moment, when it comes to hand which is likely this coming weekend upon my mates return, I'll drop some more info on MCM. I might take a look at some of the Chinese motorcycle forums when I get a minute, but am pushed for time these days (hence less posts than usual for me), that and the fact that I'm tending to be very involved with the supertenere website forum...
I'll drop more information here when it comes to hand...
OK, lurkers, your turn...

Interesting. Looks like these reports have been out there in the Chinese boards for several years.

Re: Jialing 600/650cc inline 4 cyclinder 4 stroke rumour
You can self proclaim yourself as the 'Honda of China' and do all the photo-shopping of other manufacturers bikes you like. If you have the customer service skills of a dead hamster, and an R&D department that would begrudge taking the plastic cover off a seat it is very unlikely that you'll be a success. Surely the Benelli/Qjiang would be a better option? For me to prefer the Jialing it would actually need to be a made in China rebadged CBF600 with a 50,000kms/2 year warranty.
Re: Jialing 600/650cc inline 4 cyclinder 4 stroke rumour
Wow. Looking at the CBF600 on Wikipedia and this picture one can't help but wonder. The motor is most definitely the same.
Re: Jialing 600/650cc inline 4 cyclinder 4 stroke rumour
I was saying that tongue-in-cheek, because it was clearly the CBF600 that they photo-shopped!
