2006 200xyi
OK.... I've only had this bike for 2 weeks, I bought it with 500km on the clock.
All I can say is I'm impressed. The bike handles and runs good (need to adjust the carb to run better in Cali), hauls my 200lbs of lard around without any problem, and gets great mileage.
I've had many bikes in the past, and this one makes me want to get another (hopefully larger one for me since this is the wife's bike) just because it is so light and easy to handle on the road.
We live on the coastal region of central California. this bike is great around here, as long as you stay off the freeways and dont have to do more than 60mph.....
We are going out dirt biking this weekend, so I'll post some pics of the Shine in the dirt later :icon10:

There are some interesting 250's to keep your eyes peeled for in the US...although not sure about CA.
Have fun and lets see some pics!

Re: 2006 200xyi
well, have to say the Shine did good on the trails. Not as agressive as the regular dirt bikes, but it isnt one, is it?

That trailer looks like it's loaded for some fun in the sun! Is that a Weber grill in the back? MMM.... hey don't forget the food shots! :icon10:
Was it you and a bunch of buddies out on this ride? How'd the Shine hold up against the CRFs? :confused1:

Re: 2006 200xyi
It was just the family. The wife's bike is the Shine.
L-R bikes: YZ250 (son 1), CRF450X (mine), CR125R (son 2).
We go out often. I'll post some pics in the ride reports, we usually have about 20 other riders we gather with in the desert for some awsome rides.
I think the Sine will do real well out there after I tighten down everything with Locktite

Re: 2006 200xyi
Ah good ol' Chinese shakey nuts n' bolts. For sure they aren't extreme dirt bikes but they will get someone through and over obstacles without breaking too much of a sweat (especially when picking them up!).
Also, is the Shine CARB certified or is it for off road use only?

Re: 2006 200xyi
the Shine is CARB (when new), which is nice to have a plated bike :icon10:
