Hi, New to the site
In need of help, My son got a second hand lexmoto tornado 50cc and its been one problem after another,
the bike had an oil leak and was filling the air filter with oil so we got a head gasket put the on and new oil in which has stopped the oil leak :icon10:,
but now it starts but after a minute it cuts out, we have cleaned the carb but its still cutting out, any advice would be really greatful Clare
Check the air filter and spark plug aren't fouled if you haven't already. After that check it's sparking properly, also is the fuel old?

The air filter got full of oil but have given it a good clean out, as far as i now is sparking properly but when we took sparkplug out the gap was huge so reduced it (not sure what the correct gap is tho) still no joy, No the fuel is not old,
someone has told my son that it needs 2 fuel filters

So pull out the spark plug, what color does the electrode look like currently? Is it fouling or does it look pale or white?
