Other interesting…or not…EPA facts.
The most powerful motorcycle on the list of conforming model for the USA 2011 has 431.12 hp…..
It is manufactured by BOSS HOSS http://www.bosshoss.com/videos/one/default.html
The least powerful are tied with 20 different models from several different manufactures all made in china.
These all have 2.72hp….do we really care? No I did not think so.
Other interesting…or not…facts.
The Royal Enfield Bullet EFI with a 499cc engine has the same 27.2 hp as the LifanLF400 with a carbureted 399cc. Both ready for the USA this year.
Then there is a surprise single (less a sidecar) from URAL sold through Irbit MotorWorks of America, Inc, (unless there’s been a fire or something) and manufactured by Irbit Motorcycle Factory, Ltd Russian. It has a 749cc engine with 40.8hp. http://www.imz-ural.com/solo.aspl

There are also two models listed under SAMCO corporation, with no OEM factory or OEM country listed they are a LX450E and also a Spark 500. The Spark 500 is EPA conforming and with SFI and the LX450E with a carburetor for 2011. http://www.asiawing.com/english/productlist.html

"Real Men" meaning very experienced with old British bikes? The types who knows what Prince of Darkness and tickle the Amals means?
Re: Other interesting…or not…EPA facts.
Royal Enfield EFI is new design. They brand it "unit construction kit" or something like that. Real Men stuff is something what Real Men have, and if you don't have it, then Real Men can point & laugh at you and mock you :lol8:
Seriously, there are real bikes and kiddy bikes.
Edit: And seriously, I hardly can get my eyes away of that IMZ Ural. It is as close to perfection as can be reasonably expected from a bike.
Re: Other interesting…or not…EPA facts.
Kiddy bikes being the ones that start, run, and don't leave parts behind?:riding:
Re: Other interesting…or not…EPA facts.
:lol8::lol8::lol8:
Well, but that's why they are kiddy bikes. Since kiddys can't repair bikes :lol8::lol8::lol8:
Edit: And if a bike drops something it was not needed in the first place :lol8:
Re: Other interesting…or not…EPA facts.
You know if you keep chasing the “real man” status, then eventually you end up on a Boss Hoss and a whole new set of people will be mocking you….then who cares unless they start throwing rocks at you.
If you bought one of the 2hp scooters then you deserve to be made fun of and can expect to get in peoples way and in that yelled at or run over.
I have trouble with vehicles being road legal that cannot reach the speed limits on certain roads. The 50cc scooters with 2hp cannot get to 35mph, so why are they selling so many?

And you don't need a cycle endorsement.
Re: Other interesting…or not…EPA facts.
And in some states you don't need a driver license ie. liquor scooter
