Re: SuMo with a Loncin 250cc engine
Though best known for their twins, between 1925 and 1967 BMW manufactured single-cylinder motorcycles of 250cc, 300cc, 400cc and 450cc. In 1993, BMW again began offering a single in the form of the F650 Funduro, which was followed in 2001 by the F650GS and Dakar dual-sport bikes and the F650CS street model.
I am not sure that the single from Xingue has anything to do with a venture with Loncin to produces singles for the F650GS, but may be from past relations to produce singles for Hyosung?
Hyosung marketed a 400cc bike in 2008 that had a 399cc water cooled engine.
Hyosung does use Chinese manufacturing for some of it bikes, the Comet and the 2000 model year GF125 are made in china.
If you’re are contracting them as the OEM and then no longer contract the production, they will keep making it and selling it, they manufacture to fill the contract and even after the contract ends they just keep making them…. They may even sell the technology in your bike to others?
Nothing new nothing created, sometimes something the previous guest had left behind and other times something they have stolen…borrowed from others?
