Re: How to get a Chinese Motorcycle License
There is a pdf of a previous year's questions out there on the Internet. In English, about 1300 questions. It's relatively easy to find (probably links to it in one of the earlier pages of this thread) . If you want, I can upload it somewhere and post the link. But that would have to wait till I get to. My computer. I'm on my mobile now. Note thatvthe current version of the test is mostly the same as this banking questions, but there are some differences. I never had the current questions in a downloadable form. But the old question bank was extremely useful to study. That and the iPhone app. The iPhone app is based on the new version of the test and it was the most useful resource I had to pass the test.

Thanks, I was worried that since I was testing for C1D there were going to be motorcycle questions on the test but there weren't. Got a 95 on Wed and the new DL showed up in the mail today (two days later).
I studied for the test using the Android Chinese Driver License Test Pro app. Its not as nice as the iOS app but still a huge help.
I've updated the wiki I started to reflect what I experienced but TIC and YMMV. http://chinamoto.wikia.com/wiki/Chin...er%27s_License

Congratulations. for passing the test and also for getting the android app to work for you - it kept giving me the wrong answers, I couldn't figure it out.

Nope, not yet, was waiting till I succeeded at getting the license first.
I'm looking at getting a joint-venture in the 125-250cc range.
This will be my first bike anywhere so I want something small enough to safely learn but big enough to take camping and traveling distance at high way speed if needed and hopefully help position myself to step up to a Suzuki DL650 back in the US one day. I know some guys went to 4 continents on YBR125.
I want something reliable = joint-venture
I'm leaning towards second hand to save money.
Based on what I've read a YBR250 (YS250) would be ideal. If I can't find a good price on that then I will probably land on a Honda 150 or maybe a YBR125G.
Open to suggestions.

Don't sound correct to me.
If you have a Car and motorbike licences from your home country then you should be abel to take the test in China other then Chinese.
Something sounds a miss IMO.
Re: How to get a Chinese Motorcycle License
ive gone to the place on hami lu in shanghai, and applied for a c1d license but they tell you know you have to do 2 tests one for motorcycle and one for chinese
the motorcycle test is 50 questions and is now only in Chinese
the car test is 100 questions and is available in english and Chinese
and you have to do the motorcycle test first
Re: How to get a Chinese Motorcycle License
Time to learn Chinese then .

Take th test in a small city. Somewhere you know someone use their address. If you have foreign moto license it should be easy no driving required just take the computer test
once you pass the test you are at their mercy until they tell you when you can actually get the license in your hand
again small cities are usually faster and less hassle
