LOL, thanks. I had taken those pics in case of "concealed damage". Posted them in case some folks were "on the fence" about ordering an internet bike and how it would arrive. The only other thing I've done was to remove the metal "cage". I came down with a nasty cold that afternoon and haven't had a chance to get back on it yet, bummer. I'm going to leave it strapped to the bottom til I finish the "PDI" and change the oil.

Hey all. You guys still recommending a 35t rear gear? Corpus is very flat, nearest hill is a 100 miles away. I'm in the process of re-reading the whole thread again, LOL...
Re: Dong Fang DF 250 RTB Bobber Information
Has everyone had the fuel leaking problem at the gas tank mount ?? Kinda scary. Should these be "fixed" right out of the crate?
Re: Dong Fang DF 250 RTB Bobber Information
just Kream (inner gas tank coat) your tank itll prevent corrosion due to all the alcahol in the gas and prevent leaks from tiny cracks that form in tank

I agree with Dan and will do the Kreem or similar process if my tank develops another leak. http://www.kreem.com/fueltankliner.html
I do have a new 3.5 gallon tank that I am going to try to fit soon. The tank manufacturer recommends that the tank be lined.

Barnone
I,v been researching tanks Attachment 6001casually for weeks , Triumph tanks prior to '71 have a Peanut/Teardrop shape & offer 3+ gallons. The mustang Harley tank is interesting as well.
What have you found?
Re: Dong Fang DF 250 RTB Bobber Information
Gun,
I'll take the tank out the box and take a photo of it. The problem is I will have to move the wiring, etc below the top frame tube because the tank's valley is not that large. Also I will have to cut off the front mount and rear mount for the stock tank so there is no easy way to go back.
