They said that would be no problem. But who knows.
What a pleasure it is to ride where there are curves and elevation changes like it is here in the mountains of Western North Carolina. :riding:
Hey guys. I ended up getting this bike:

Its a bobbed 1981 Yamaha Maxim. The engine is supposedly bored out to almost 900CC, but I don't think thats actually possible. Anyway, it goes plenty fast. Half the price of the DF and no issue registering. I guess I'll have to join some "Japanese bike" forum now.
Mate, thats ...cool looking. The headlight bulb is probably made In China, so you can stay here if you supply more pics and make reports that fill the fangers and heisters with envy. :lol8:
I have a motor cycle mechanic visiting with his Harley 1320CC (but its modified way beyond that) and he keeps asking to go out on my bike. So I am pretty happy with mine.
Other,
Nice Yamaha and it should walk the dog. Good choice. Like the drive shaft too.
Thanks. We just went for a ride to the Indiaqn Reservation and found a tame little biker bar right on a small waterfall. This will probably be a 30 minute drive I take often. Lots of people asking about this bike. Its funny, take all the parts off a bike and paint it flat black and everyone is interested in it. I guess we're not the only ones.
She's not Chinese, but more pictures please! The reservation sounds fund (but careful with DUI).
cheers!
Here in the sticks of North Carolina we don't have garbage pickup so it was time for a run to the dump.

So I hooked up the trailer to the bobber.
And off I went to the dump.:riding:
