Foshan to Boluo – Day 12
Lulu hopped on the back of Ali’s motorcycle who brought his little girl for a day ride out with us. I finally got some good speed going on my bike as I followed them to a riverside reastaurant named Gasha Gasha for a long lunch.

We said goodbye and thanks to the Motorfans guys and headed on up the G324 towards Fujian. We were supposed to meet a guy from Lifan in Zengcheng who would have a look over our bikes, but we got there too late and he had headed to Guangzhou by the time we got there.
It started to get dark as we met some more Motorfans guys on the main road in Boluo, and they treated us to dinner, Karaoke and a sorely needed massage.

You're in Beijing?!? Well, let us entertain you, if you're here for a while. I've PM'd my mobile number.
Congrats on your great journey!

Great RR! If I'd known you were heading into Guilin and Yangshou in advance I'd have introduced you to some friends of mine based there whose family has a big hotel in Guilin and a new Inn just outside of Yangshou, with the bonus being that they're avid motorcyclists for many years. Still its great to read about your exploits and experiences all the same.

Re: Around China in 100 Days
Now that's a ride report, thanks for sharing, I enjoyed reading every bit.
PS. I know what you mean when you talk about a broken back, and swimming in your own boots and gloves. Puts you in a strange state of mind doesn't it? At the sametime trying to keep a straight line on the bike... hehe... You won't know up from down for weeks after this, but you will never forget this. Or, will you decide to just keep on going?
Re: Around China in 100 Days
Cheers guys. We're heading to Chengde this morning and then on into Inner Mongolia, so it is going to be even harder to access a quality internet connection for the next few weeks so I'll do my best to keep things updated.

Thanks of the great report.

What a ride so far! You and miss Lulu are true adventurers, roughing it on small bikes with no advanced gear, you make most of us look like pussies!

I don't know if we're yet measuring up to the ride you guys did through Sichuan and Yunnan. The lack of gear is either because we didn't have the money, the preparation time, experience, or all of the above. The small bikes are because we didn't really have much option, but they've been doing a good job so far. Fingers crossed:riding:
