Can I ask a few repair questions about my qingqi variant 125 and just general advice?
What's wrong on that scooter? GY6 https://translate.google.com/transla...112&edit-text= tricks can applies on it...
Kymco shop manual http://www.airgad.gr/kymco%20agility...e%20manual.pdf is close enough for solving most :confused1:
The Kreidler SM125 Pro has the 125cc DOHC Piaggio engine

Send us some photos as overview and details.
Have you checked all screw connections? Are all parts in place / nothing lost?
Any part found that has a crack?

Hi thanks so much for replying to my questions ive just been told by the person picking it up for me that he cant deliver till end of the week i wont dare do an 80 mile ride home with a wobbly rear end but ill check screws and take better pictures when it arrives. Im looking on parts websites and decent parts are cheap do you think this bike would be good to put money into as i need a bike with decent speed but is economical saving around 600 to 800 for a fully working bike is hard.
Ive also been looking online at fixes and the way to start the bike is to put the key in, turn it fully, then take insulated pliers and touch the two poles on what I think is the solenoid relay, a few sparks happen and it starts up, so from what ive got from what people have wrote is that if i change the solenoid relay it will start without having to bridge those connections each time what do you think?
If u want that test, use screwdriver http://www.dansmc.com/electric_starters.htm. Pilers often don't make good contact ( we are talking >60A) & don't have enough safety clearance from ur body !!!
A safer method (w/o motor load) is use multimeter & hearing to prove solenoid (a magnetic s/w, u will hear the tick sound...) is in working order 1st

This is an interesting turn of events, Qingqi is now offering a GV250, that engine has been in production in China for some time through Yinxiang and its venture with Hyosung.
However, the Qingqi looks different…more modern.
It seems that Hyosung may have shifted from Yinxiang to Qingqi? If that is the case we may see a 650 engine next also some DOHC singles.
