Friend and I are planning a ride from Urumqi to Chengdu (or visa-versa).
We've got our Chinese CE1 licences - now we're looking for bikes.

Does anyone know if it's possible to hire bikes...

We'd be looking to have a local friend purchase the bikes, which would allow us to leave the country...
